Hi guys.

I have a Fiat Punto 1.9 diesel. No modifications. Just standard. Brought it knowing there was a problem with starting it in the morning and noticed when it's warm it runs and rives fine. However four days after getting the car it is now stalling when I'm driving BUT only when my revs drop to change gear. If I can keep my revs as high as possible it is fine! the engine management light comes on and within a minute the car has stalled. Has had a air filter change and fuel filter and oil change. Has had a engine flush and fuel flush too. Any ideas? Have changed the temperature sensor and fro wen at I was told it has had camshaft? Sensor already changed. Thanks x

The engine management light will be on = fault code stored

This code needs reading to see what it thinks is wrong

My gut feeling is saying crank sensor has started to die but need testing to confirm

It's come back fuel pump. Problem is as soon as you turn car off and restart engine management light goes off. Luckily a friend had one that I could plug in while driving. Fingers crossed I canfinda. Cheap one.... :/ x

the CODE should be stored , so you can read it anytime,

then clear them and see how it goes, and what pops up next..,

No code comes up if engine management light is off and there's no pending codes for it. This is why I've beens tuck.

I'm a bit of a newbie to Fiats. If I was to get a pump off a turbo 1.9diesel would it fit a nonturbo diesel 1.9?x
