Hi there Folks,

I've surfed thoroughly the forums but no luck regarding my issue so I am asking the kind help of Yours.

My FiPu has a strange gearbox oil leak. It has been there since she joined my garage (this may) but I've never found the source of it. Until now.

Two month ago I've topped it up hoping that the leak is not immanent now as the elder owner has it sorted out and only the crap remained at the bottom of the gearbox. I was wrong, unfortunately.

Well the thing is that the oil is definitely not leaking from the driveshaft sealings, been checked. It' s not the gearbox's near side cover either.

It is the gear selector's sealing I'm afraid. I've traced it well back to the gear selector housing. Here, take a look:

I've cleaned it and made some gearshifts afterwards. With every in-out movement it takes a little oil out on the surface of the roll. The first pic has been taken before the gearshifts (clean) the second has been taken after (oil on it).

Has anyone ever experienced a leak likewise? How bad is it to replace the sealing?
And last but not at least does this Uno owner had the same issue as me?

Any kind of advice would be appreciated.
