Need some advise, every time the car hits 70mph and i start to slow down the steering wheel starts shaking BADLY! It actually is quite scary so i stick to 60mph coz it doesnt happen till i go over that. Any ideas please want to get this sorted

Sounds like you need your wheels balancing, one of your weights ciuld have fallen off, kwikfit do it quite cheap, or worse case is youve buckled a wheel on one of the many potholes we have in this country

The above, plus before you go to get the front wheels checked, just make sure that all the nuts are tight on the wheel.

And that no boy racer has fitted "universal spacers".

*Update* took the car to a local garage one of the front wheels didnt have any weights on at all the guy said they had probly fallen off at some point and the other front wheel was only a little out he charged me £5 was really happy took it up the motoway and problem is solved cheers for all your help guys, it nice going to a garage now a little about what maybe wrong it always cost me less lol x

Balancing saves tyre wear and saves wear on ball joints

Balancing is best done once every two years or if a shake occours

A buckled wheel cant be perfectly rebalanced but the most can be taken out
