So I've installed a rcl kit and I'm wanting to add the boot unlock function that comes with it. I have a few solenoids kicking around from another central locking kit. Just wondering where to mount the solenoid(s) and what to do really!

All you need is the Central locking kit to actuate the actuator/solenoid

You need to find where the cable is in the boot, and join it on

A simple bracket is all you need and the suitable wiring and wiring kit

I got a 2kg cable pull solenoid and changed out the manual cable with it.
Its mountable on the left of the lock, and it pulls the right way.
