I have a Punto 60 -01 without centrallocking. I wonder if there is something wrong with the interior light. When I close and lock the door the light still is turned on. After 3 min it will turn off. I think it looks very strange when it is dark outside and you leave the car with a bright light inside. Shouldnt it turn off when I lock the door?

i think theyr meant to do that mate, with my 2002 active sport you can even have the headlights stay on for a few minutes after you have got out, i think its called parking lights or something, its so you dont have to go from your car to your house in the dark.

Yes, I know that I can turn on the headlights for a few minutes when parking the car but I can't see the point ta have the interior light turned on for 3 minutes. It is a very long time...

Anyone else who knows if this is normal?
My barchetta and coupé didn't do this "trick".

When I lock mine (one with central locking) the interiur light turns off immeadiatly. I think the settings are altered with the switches beside the light. Look in your manual for some help.

Punto Mk2 ELX

The only settings I can find is off/on/auto when I press on the cover of the light. Should there be more switches? Can´t find anything in the manual about that.
