Hi , I am wanting to sell my punto cd player , I have the original security card with the 4 digit code for the CD player and the original manual as supplied when bought from new

So if i sell this on eBay , with the original 4 digit code , can this CD player work on another fiat etc ?

I am assuming this will be no problem as i have the original 4 digit code...

you will need to give the buyer the code, otherwise it wont work
but yes if he/she has the code the stereo will work in their punto

Just any standard Fiat punto head unit that will work tbh.

I have base model which had just speedo so that basic will the head unit work or will it display the CANCHECK message?

Well it worked fine on mine & i had it in and out a few times so i had to put the code in each time lol but never had any error messages! ill link you to one if i i can find it!

No idea ill see what they go for! don't want much though as i have no use for it, i have a posh Sony one now lol! i will be 2 mins!

they are coded to the specific car, and wont work in another car even with the code, it will come up cancheck.

you can get them un-locked by some people who deal with electronics and do some special soldering stuff on the circuit board.

i have one too, but it will need to be unlocked as will every other one to work in another car.

Ah ok i was looking for the CD player tbh as thats the function i would use most on it and i dont own any cassetes lol
