Hi,
have had this niggling problem for sometime now and just cant seem to get to the bottom of it,
Basically The car has been misfiring normally around 2k 2.5k revs,
I had it scanned and it came back with P1135 which is lamba sensor before cat, so replaced that and had the code cleared but still misfiring, then I replaced all spark plugs, leads, and coil packs, result = still a misfire,
I got myself a scanner and scanned again and it still showing P1135, I have cleared it a few times and it keeps coming back,
anyway today what I decided to do is swap the 2 lamba sensors over (post and pre cat), erased all codes, now I still have the misfire when I'm driving but am no longer getting the code back any more, so I'm guessing this has ruled out the lamba has a fault ?
not sure what to check next, any idea guys ??
also I have noticed the spark plugs are very white as if its running way to lean, which would explain the misfire but haven't got a clue what my next step is other then take it to a garage
