Hi,

I was wondering if any new about a rear squeak that is coming from my rear suspension? I have got a Fiat Punto MK2 52 reg. It drives me insane if I don't have my stereo on! Would any one have any idea on what it would be and how to fix it?

Most likely the handbrake mount on the rear axle causing the squeak

Can be done without removing wheel
pop the cable and rubber bush out clean up - a little coppergrease or any grease tbh and sit it back down

haha i have same problem mine squeaks too, was told it was the springs so bought new springs had them fitted and it turns out its the shock absorber all along!! it wasnt broken or leaking it just squeaks

The problem is people blaim parts when they havent been diagnosed correctly

Rear shocks are do able as long as the bottom bolt aint seized
