Which bolt for wishbone at the rear hole? I measured the bolt to M12x1.25x80

Which grade of tensile strength? There are some markings on the bolt but didn't made me any wiser. Don't want my car to fall apart when im driving :D

Also, can i go with M12x1.5x80 instead if i match the nut? Because i'm having trouble finding the correct one.

Help appreciated. Thanks.

There was a thread here for the strength of the strut bolts. So I believe the R10 is the 10 grade of the bolt and the SRS is the manufacturers marking.

Get the bolt from Fiat. I am supposing since the captive nut is welded in about 4 places the hardness of that nut is questionable?? The welding is going to change the nuts properties unless fiat have a method to reharden the captive nut which seems unlikely when it would be better to capture the nut mechanically rather than with a weld if the hardness was critical. What does the nut look like?

I see a fiat multipla has a m12 rear strut nut which gets torqued to 88nm. Many reputable garages/mechanics will have boxes of suitable nuts which they have rescued from various jobs over the years and alternatively they must know who can supply the right nut for a job like yours?
