Popped again last night, second time in 6 months on my 53 plate punto!

the round end snapped and lost my clutch use completely.

Garage told me clutch had gone completely (didnt even look under bonnet), but then i called out greenflag who were brill and diagnosed the fault and temp fixed it so i could drive it to the garage.

Not impressed with them, but wonderd if anyone has ad similar problems and how much im looking to be paying out to get repaired?

I dont want to be ripped off.

the slave cylinder is an easy peasy DIY job :)

2x bolts pulls the unit off the gearbox
then 1x spring clip allows the pipe to be pulled out from it

However - you will need to clamp the flexi line to it to stop it peaing fluid everywhere, and you will need an assistant or a pressure bleeder to bleed the air out
