Styling Thinking of fitting these seats in my HGT.

Evening All.

I'm thinking of fitting these seats into my HGT as the drivers seat is a bit tired!

I've done a search but couldn't find much so does anyone have any advice?

I'm planning to bolt these to the existing frames?

You are most likely have to use your existing seat runner into them
My mate had this seats fitted into his corsa and they wear out easyly
Why dont spend a little bit more and get alfa 147 leather seat fitted?
I had a nice set of punto leather black and blue but i sold them on wednesday!

Personally, I think those look disgusting compared to the hgt seats. Plus they scream 'boy racer'.

Leather seats look a lot nicer and are probably more comfortable.

i agree the hgt interior is much classier compared to those boy racer seats
but if driver seat is worn i think a leather upgrade would be nice
sold them to a chap in lancaster for £220

I thought the blue/black of these would match the rear HGT seats.

Just remember your HGT Will have side impact protection airbags built into the side of them removing the factory seats will compromise the safety systems of the car

i would not say that they were confy and liked i said before they wear out quickly and looked crap in a short time
the seats that you are linking are expensive
147 leather interior go for £180+ and thats for front and rear bench
i have a tanned set going for sale soon for that price

a lot of people on here have done this modification and as far i know front seats fit with no issues and back needs a bit of work on modify a bracket:chin:
my seats are in fair condition but have a look about if there is some for sale near you
and im guessing that your hgt has no airbags?

They have airbags in the seats.

I've found some on eBay and one thread with pics of them in a punto and I think they look great!

airbags are a problem
you could find a set of 147 seats with airbags and connection under seat are problably the same but is highly dangerous to have an airbag that is meant to be for another car
im sure someone else would be able to further assist you on what to do

I agree it would be madness to connect a different airbag!

I've thought about this last night and this morning with the wife and decided I'm not going to do anything. I will keep the Punto till christmas then buy a new SLK.
