Hi all,
I've searched the forum for a fuse diagram for a punto 1.2 Active 54 plate but so far I haven't found one. I appreciate there is a basic diagram on the pulldown cover but it seems very vague and doesn't cover all the fuses.

Basically the heater/blower has stopped and I have checked the wiring (in fact removed the molten plastic plug and rewired) but still there is no life and no light on the heater settings dial. My first foray into the fuse box didn't reveal anything untoward and following an earlier posting I checked all the 7.5 fuses and they seem fine.

There was no bang, sizzle or any such drama, it just wouldn't switch on.

any help/suggestions gratefully received.

Cheers

HI Ziggy,
The new resistor pack makes no difference the fan is dead dead dead! I'll try bridging the black earth wire posted in this forum. When the blower dial is turned the dashboard lights appear and they seem to indicate the side lights are on suggesting a bad earth somewhere and given the state of the last plug ....

If the fans stay off but the sidelight come on
Then its a Bad earthing connector near the fan thats failed
There is a guide to rectify this issue
