Technical Sticking door handle

Passenger door handle seems to be sticking open..

Ive tried the WD40 like other threads have said but still no luck

Any other ideas to try and free it up or am i best to buy a new door handle?

Remove
And Clean up/oil up

takes some sorting

OR failing that - get the one from a local scrappy

you can do these in situ
ive not failed yet
put some proper oil not wd down the top of the door handle at both ends wipe off surplus that runs down door skin (3 in 1 oil or 10/40 type stuff in a wizard of oz type oil application gun)
with door ajar open and shut the catch for a few minutes
the metal pin seizes in the plastic so you need to keep moving it to free it or buy a new door catch
when working freely clean door catch and door skin to remove the oil residue left with a clean cloth or old pair of kack pants

I can tell that this just wouldn't work with my handle. I tried all sorts of oils.
In fact, with the handle off, submerging the pins *totally* in oil and working the handle back and forth wouldn't free them.
Tiny hole at closed end of pin sorted it immediately
