This is getting annoying now
The 2nd hand engine was put in - it had plugs and leads already present
So i left those in as they were better nick then mine
Anyway - Was a bad misfire alot so i replaced HT's - problem fixed for 1week
Luckily i brought the plugs at same time as leads, so fitted new plugs - problem fixed for a short while
But i still kept having a very lumpy idle and the odd spitter as i revved up
Well tonight again - the idle was massivily lumpy, but all this time - no EML indicating a misfire btw, and a loud clicking / cracking noise could be heard
driving home no issue - smooth
Pulled up - shunting into place its rough again + cracking
Get the hood up and airbox off and start examining the leads and plugs
So this is both New plugs and leads - i can see the arc'in happening
So swapped the plug lead from cyl 2 to cyl 1 - the fault is recreated there, cyl'1 has a spark appearing - cyl 2 is not
So this is a HT lead fault surly? But there brand new?
Ziggy
