Hi there, just brought my daughter (as a surprise for her 17th Birthday a W reg 1.2 punto. Only problem is it seems to have lost power, i drove it on country roads and then on the motorway and couldnt keep a constant speed at all. On the motorway going up a slight hill it would only go 40mph.
When i was pulling away in first gear i had to put my foot to the floor go gain any power.
Any help/advice on how i can fix this problem would be great, i have arranged for it to have a service but do you think this will fix the problem?

How is the tick over? It should smooth and consistant. If not you may have a failed spark plug and are only running on 3 cylinders. Is the air filter clogged up?
