well lads im in the process of a turbo conversion with my 1108cc would just like to know the best place for the oil feed thank.

good lad mate i was poking about and tryed the two bungs on the oil filter housing and the top one works good thanks.

How far has drummer gotten?

The only reason i went the turbo route was to make for a better option then swapping a Y10 turbo lump, it was never intended to compete with the Uno turbo/Punto gt engines, though i admit it can stand up to those cars IF in stock form:) . A modded punto gt or uno turbo will push 200hp+ with reliability while a turbocharged fire conversion will cost a LOT of money to get to 200hp and i still don't know if it will be reliable. I can honestly say i'm one of the very few people that has actually seen the limits of fire engine parts when it comes to forced induction, i've broken just about every internal part there is in order to know the limit, only thing left to break is the block but at this rate it won't be long:rolleyes: . (yes i already cracked a 999cc head)

You have several options in this area:

-stand alone engine management
-extra injector with controller
-rising rate regulator
-fuel management unit
-nothing

this is listed from best to worst. No a remap won't work, i've just figured that one out!!(it will but it's not worth the hassle and mods required)

if you read my site under turbo info it will all be explained.

make sure you do something about the timing or it won't last.

im intreasted in this second injector what about the controler is it expenive or can one be made? another thing timing you say what do i need to do ?
thank you for your help. drummer

A rising rate regulator increases the fuel pressure at a specific rate as the boost rises, usually we use a 12:1 and then use a blled valve to adjust it right. This would rise the fuel pressure 12psi for every 1 psi of boost. Never exceed 100psi of fuel pressure because the injectors will leak.

The timing needs to be retarded to prevent detonation, as you know the more advanced the timing the higher the combustion temperature so the higher the chances of detonation.

Any more questions?

i dont think the ignition timing is adjustable on my car altho i could b wrong what would your best bet be for fueling, a rising rate regulator ? where is the best place to buy one or can i get one off another car. does any cars come standard with a regulator that i could use ?
my car is only a spi so it makes things more difficult. (y) (y)
