Anyone know what the set cost is for the 2nd year service. I know that my 1st year came to £130 and all they did was change the oil! I would have done just over 10k so whether or not that affects it?

£130 is bit much though,shopuld of been around £90,take it to another dealer.

Total rip off for a service and i had some items that needed fixing under warranty but they would not entertain as it was down to wear and tear

Just got my Punto back from local (st)ealers for 2nd year service at only 10k miles, £260!!!!!!

Admittedly this is expensive but unfortunately warranty is voided if you don't take it to a Fiat dealership in its first three years, am going to wait until my warranty runs out next year though and then take it somewhere else for it's 3rd year - it's despicable of Fiat/Alfa to charge that much - it's only a Punto!

It is not correct. As long as you use original parts any specialist is permitted to do the service under the new EC regulations!

1st year service for my 2002 Punto (1.6 HGT) was £150

Service (net) £77.35 + £50 worth of "charges" i.e Oil £21, + VAT.... it all adds up.

2nd year service was £470!!! (Needed 2 new 195/55/15 Firestone tyres - £120 net), That will teach me to go easy with the left foot...

(The net second year service was £215...)

My 3rd year service is booked in for Monday and they have quoted me £260 net. phew. likely to be a lot more as the AirCon needs fixing, and the variator is noisy - although they may do this under warranty (3rd year dealer).
