Hey everyone im wondering how to work my trip computer on my mk2. what each setting means. there is one that has an A then tells me so many miles etc. im not sure what each thing is for or how to clear recent mileage for when i fill with petrol.

Just press and hold the trip button for 3 seconds and it will reset

Pressing the trip button cycles the computer through :-
Total mileage
Trip mileage since reset
Average MPG since reset
Approximate mileage left with the fuel in the tank "A" (will vary according to MPG)
Total running time since reset
Average speed since reset

To reset the trip computer set it on any display other than total mileage and press and hold the trip button on the instrument console and the display will change to dashes (-----)

It took me a while lol but although its definitely an A I think they've sort of cheated a bit and your supposed to read it as an R for remaining miles
