Have got my 2002 Punto 16v Sporting booked in for its 24k service later this week. I'm taking it to a local (non-FIAT) mechanic. I've been reading the 'Operations to be Carried Out' for the 24k service according to the FIAT Aftercare booklet. Surprised to see no mention whatsoever of changing engine coolant in this list. It mentions checking the level at every 12k service but no mention of ever replacing it with new. Is the stuff they put in at the factory so good now that it lasts for the lifetime of the car??? Finding this a bit hard to believe!
