(T) Horn Relay

AM I right in thinking that the horn relay for a mk2 punto is 15amp? Do I need to think about anything else when buying a new relay? The old one vanished into thin air at some point in my cars history and I do like to have a working horn.. you know, road legal and all that.

highly unlikely the horn relay went walkies
its much more likely a horn fault or even a fault it the steering wheel squib wiring
try giving horn a good clout as mate pushes button

Dunno what went walking.............

If you have a horn that's not working, the fault will usually be on the earth side or the connectors. A good scratch and re-attach often works.

The horn works just fine if I put a relay in. I tried it with a 20amp relay from the position above in the engine fuse box, and it worked just fine.

So, i just need a relay and its done. Next time I pop to breakers, I got a list of things I want.

20 amp one will do no harm at all: amperage here is just about how much current the main contacts are designed to take.
