The rubber seal underneath the air filter box is kaput.
I can't find these on ebay, or anywhere else.
Can anyone recommend a source?

I used to have loads of these but not stripped any puntos in a while now

Also looking for 2 front door check straps, mk2 y reg. Straps are popping on the pins; pins themselves look ok.

I took out the pin on the body, cleaned, inspected, and regreased. Helps, but still pops.
Didn't know you can tighten them. I assumed the hole in the strap for the pin is worn, you can see the strap jump each time there is a crack/pop.
Would tightening help? Take it I need to take the door card off for that?

Can't remember exactly now how to do it. Been a while since I've had a punto.

Door cards need to come off to replace the strap anyway though

Both are parts I'd replace with new. For new bits, Big Mick at Eurocarcare in Derby, Shop4Parts (Google will find either) or your local FIAT dealer.

sometimes tightening up clears the click but its usually wear in the clevis rivet
i had a right job finding a grommit last time i needed one but then thankfully found one in stock so best of luck

I found the part number in the EPER link above after typing in my VIN from the slam plate.

It's just called "Sealing gasket", part number 46528828 (at least for my type of car).

Cost £5.60 ex VAT from Fiat, not one they have in stock, but they can order it in next day.

I've seen it called "Air filter grommet" elsewhere.

Hope this helps someone else.
