i have a basic model punto, 2001 MIA.. i was wondering if a friends wheels off his active sport will fit straight on? as he's changing his and asked if i wanted them. im new to wheel fitting... will they need spigots/spacers/wobblies or are they the same as the steel wheels? thanks.

yes they physically fit no wiggly wobbles required
not sure on the fixings though whether you need just the standard wheel bolts or the ones with the alloys
im sure someone will advise more thoroughly:)

thanks for the quick reply, so effectively they just bolt straight on as a replacement? in that case the wheel bolts should be the same? but thats something i can look into.. or even try!.. just wondered if they would fit straight on, cos if they dont it wasnt worth it

just make sure they go on tight to the wheel flanges
and double check tightness after 50 miles as recommended by the british tyre association:)

I know what S and B is talking about here as some manufactures *COUGH FORD* make the holes in their alloys larger than the steel wheels this means if you use steel wheel bolts on alloys they risk pulling the steal bolts through the wheel. the alloy bolts are still however designed to hold the steel spare on fine.

Might be best to check with a local tyre centre or fiat dealership parts department to see if there is a difference in part number
