hi guys,
i'm having major problems with my warranty company & an intermittent dash problem, (on a punto mk2)
what happens is intermittently when i turn the ignition key my entire dashbaord will go dead, no lights or guages etc..
now its been into fiat & hooked up to thier diagnosics & they say it has a "CAN line error" & that it needs a new dash,
the warranty company sent out an engineer to take a look & make sure the dealership wasnt lying & scince its intermittent it didnt do it while he was there.... hence no approval for a new dash,
they've (warranty company) sent it to an electrics specialist & it has yet to display the same problem [V][

has anyone ever had a can line error on thier punto dash? what is the can line & is it in integrated part of the dash etc?
would like to know more about it as i know i've got a fight om my hasnds
