My 2002 1.2 Punto starts fine cold, but after driving a couple of hundred metres it often (not always) loses power briefly. I notice if I have to stop at a junction and then pull out. It can be only a slight power loss or even stop completely (engine still running, but no revving sound from the accelerator). I have had new plugs, leads and coilpack but this has not helped. Would be v. grateful for any ideas before I throw more money at this problem. This only happens after a cold start, and the rest of the time it runs great. xx

there is a breather pipe connects rightly to the air filter box (8 valve) your problem sounds symptomatic of this having come adrift as ive had several simmy lar
need to undo airbox to check it mind lift up 2 inches and have a peer
