Any of u guys ever fitted roofs bars on a fiat punto mk2 b before ? The front fixing doesnt seem to fit the roof bar fitting :bang:. Is there a difference between the fitting on a fiat punto 2 and a fiat punto mk2 b ? Any help would be great guys i will post a picture soon to better describe what i mean.

I believe there is a difference between the 3 door and the 5 door but not between the mk2 and mk2b

which kit are you trying to fit? genuine fiat or after market?

Im trying to fit the automaxi fiat punto 2000> roof bars and the front fixing just does not look right. I was just about to go check with a mk2 down the road if it is different but dont want to look like im trying to break in so cheers for the info so far.

the company Lists a 3 door and a 5 door model as well as Supra and Silverline kit do you know which one you have?
did you buy them new or used?

I've fitted a Thule kit but found it a major faff and returned the bits. £250 or the best part off, and that was with some heavy discount at work. Kit was decent but it looked naff and was a hassle to get on and off quickly.

Not sure how far you have got but the rubber rails fold back and there are slots to secure roof rack holdings in, if that helps.

Its the 3 door supra version and the roof fixing is much wider than the bar fixing does this look normal to u guys ?
