2000 punto, has a lot of issues. right now trying to figure out if the clutch or flywheel is busted, clutch pedal vibrates really bad when driving and an ear peircing squeal is heard when ever the clutch pedal is engaged. she doesnt want to take off at all have give her about another 1,000 rpm to go from a dead stop otherwise she'll stall out. Any suggestions and if so where can I get a cheap replacment? I am stationed in germany and if there is nothing here than what kind of car has the same spec's so I can order that part from the states.

thanks

Chances are that it's the clutch rather than the flywheel. Get a clutch kit (the two plates & a release bearing).

If the flywheel is fubar (rare) any Punto with the same capacity engine should provide a replacement, or even a Cinquecento/Seicento. The 8v 1108 and 1242 engines use a different flywheel (although it looks the same, the clutch facing area is different) to the 16v engines, and the 1.4 16v is different to the 1.2. There will be plenty in German recycling yards.

With the gearbox off, check the condition of the input shaft seal and bearing. There's a guide to replacement.

Unless the car in question is a JTD with a DM flywheel ;)

Im trying to order the parts from the states cause it's so expensive here, so what kind of non fiat car has the same specs? I'm having no luck with my google-ing. Thanks.

I'm a bit puzzled why you would buy fiat parts from the US. Euro car parts in Britain sell a Punto clutch kit under the name Transmec which is made in Germany. It retails for about £50. I'm sure someone in Germany must sell these.
