Hi, my interior fan stopped working full stop yesterday morning on my Punto MK2 (Y reg 2001). I removed the blower motor, thinking it had fried and tested it on a spare car battery I had and it worked fine. I then checked the power cable (blue and black wire_ for the fan and it shows a continuous 12volts for every speed setting (except 0) on my multimeter. As soon as I connect the blower motor back its' power feed, the voltage just drops to 0 and the fan doesn't spin.

I've looked at the terminals on both the fan motor and the power feed and they look fine and fit together well. I'm now out of ideas to what the problem could be.

Has anyone got any suggestions?
