Misfire on specific cylinders, or "generic"?

There's numerous causes for misfires, besides ignition-related:

Evap. control valve stuck open (over-rich mixture)
Unidentified lambda issues running it too lean
Fuelling problems (injectors, weak/bad fuel, low fuel pressure, etc)
Mechanical issues (compressions, damaged valve/s, cam timing)
Etc
Etc

I would not condemn an ECU on a "misfire" error code.

Thats the thing see i had it checked over by a mechanic he replacd all the senors still nothing he said he checked everything it got to be electrical and the auto electrical man said its the ecu

Every single sensor on the car? A mechanic who simply replaces sensors on a whim is an idiot- I hope you didn't have to pay for his guesswork.

What about the mechanical side of things? Fuel side of things? Etc...

How long was he on it?
