I'm probably asking a stupid question - no, I AM asking a stupid question, but for the life of me I cannot work this out.
I am going to fit heated seat pads to the seats, between the fabric and the foam. (If you're interested, I have bought these: eBay Special. Make an offer of >£65 and they're yours.)
Anyway.
I've taken the passenger seat out, removed the plastic panels around the outside, and now am left with what appears to be the fabric 'heat shrunk' around the aluminium base.
I cannot find a way of getting it off at all. I can unclip it at certain points, but not all the way round.
I have a MK2B Sporting.
Is there some sort of trick to it? It seems like I need to insert the pads from the front, (the back is secured to the aluminum) but I just cant seperate the plastic rim of the fabric enough.
