hi have a fiat punto 2001 1.9 jtd will only start on easy start

and whens running it runs fine and revs out sounds lovely

left it running up to temp for 30 mins or so turn it straight off then try to restart it and will not start
has 3/4 tank of diesel in it just incase it was that
had it checked with snap on ethos and no fault codes !!

Ideally it needs a compression test. Also see if the glow plugs are working, though most diesels will start without them if weather is not too cold.

hi been told today its a common fault that the starter motor gives elec noise and interfers with crank shaft sensor so will not start on starter but car bump starts fine

Its not glow plugs not injectors not crank shaft sensor not fuel pumps

The only thing left is piston rings or valves dropping the compression.
