Hi i replaced my instrument panel on my mk2 ages ago with the higher spec one, it doesn't need proxy aligning just the mileage correcting i have tried a few local garages but none of them will even listen.

Anyone now of any garage or other person near northampton that does it

or does anyone have one the correction cables.

Thanks

Yeah the milage on the clocks in lower than the car but the dealers just say it's impossible and don't know what proxy alignment is. I have asked to speak to a technical person but they say someone will get back to me ad never do.

In that case then - Another Garage - they are too impertent to know what todo and i wouldnt trust them for 1 second!

I think Fiat Ecu Scan Now also has the ability todo it
Might be cheaper then the Local auto-Sparky who should be able todo it for you too :)

(got mine done by my local auto electrician :) )

If you do get Fiat Ecu Scan - then you will have to get the full version - but as said might be cheaper the local Auto sparkie - and you can then also diagnose and loose at all the little bits and bobs on your car yourself = More Money Saved :)

Take it to a fiat dealership, if you are refering to a fiat dealership above and what you say is true then let us all know who they are so we can phone them up and laugh at them.

I have brought a cable todo off another member on here.

really you asked Yani? the developer? who in this thread on his forum states
The mileage can be updated by the "Write Odometer" function. You can find it in the Instrument Cluster/Adjustments. Please note that you can only write a value that is higher than current value on the instrument cluster display.
loads of members on here have adjusted there mileage with Fiat ECU scan having changed the clocks so why are you telling porky-pies?

Why not post in the stilo section asking if anyone is local to you with full fes, it might be cheaper as it would cost a few beer tokens and its another ff member helping out
