hi, i have an m reg punto 75elx up untill 2 days ago it ran great. now it wont start. it will turn over but just not fire. fuel pump wont work and the spark pugs aint delivering a spark. i know its an elictrical fault somewhere but where ?? ?.its not immobilised so its not that..any help would be appreciated

maybe it could be something simple like a fuse??
i have a mk2 punto and on mine there one fuse that does fuelpump,fuel injectors and ignition coils. all together.
maybe there is one on your mk1 punto. it will be in the engine bay fuse box buit wich one i dont know as i only have a mk2 diagram on me its 20amp fuse in mine

Sounds more like a relay fault or feed to relay windings.Have you got a live at the coil/pump?
I'd concentrate on the fuel side first,dont overlook the obvious,fuel cut off switch?
