Hey All,

I have just seen the most beautiful car and I wanna take some ideas from it, starting with the rear lights.

From this picture:

I can see that they are the standard rear lights. What I want to know is what they tinted the lights with (I know they probably used a spray but is it blue or black, I can't tell). I have that colour punto and I think it would look superb on mine.

Thanks
Dave :bang:

Yep thats a beauty! (y) saw that on ABS's web site? the cadamuro design stuff is great. I ordered one of there bumpers the other day, cant wait to get it on, I got the carzone one fitted at the mo and I've gone of it now. It looks like they've used black tint spray and blue spray on the little triangle section of the light.

Hey,

After speaking with wolfrace he assures me that the lights are tinted with a black tinting spray and the triangular indicators are sprayed with a paint/laquer mix. What I now need to know is which is the best tinting spray for translating light. As I want to make them as dark as in that picture, but I still want them legal. Can anyone suggest one?

Thanks
Dave

i have tinted my lights a few days ago thanks to the help of the guys on this forum. i bought a can of tint called "savage" it was £13 an works very well. the biggest tip i can give is to be patiant. whilst you are doin it it will look like nothing is happening, it was only until i unmasked the relector that i saw how dark they have gone. think im gonna give mine a few more coats to blacken them up a bit. hope this helps
