I'm a costco member (a wholesaler) so they tend to get American Brands pretty cheap - whatever the product.

I have a MK 2 Punto Sporting and want to do an oil change - is this a good oil?

I was reading the other threads and oilman seemed to suggest some oils named as Synthetic are not from a chemists point of view

The back of the can says 100% Synthetic Multigrade engine oil - does this 100% bit mean it's the real deal?

Is this a good oil choice for this car? My mileage is really low only about 2,500 miles per year due to the fact I work from home and when I do travel it's usually by tube train to London.

No, this is not the real deal and that's why it's cheap.

It's a hydrocracked oil, not a pao or ester synthetic.

Cheers
Guy
