Hi everyone

I'm looking to change my gearbox oil but the level plug is looking pretty rusty. It would be good if I could change it but I’m struggling to find the correct part to order.

My car is a Fiat Punto 1.9 JTD 55reg

The current plug has a 12mm hex head

I looked on the eper and found this plug (part number 6), I think this could be the correct one but not sure. The level plug is located next to the gearbox sensor but this diagram does not show the sensor.

Is it the same as this one?

Any help would be much appreciated!

You could get one from a breakers and have it plated because road salt will soon have a new one looking rough.

I'm popping into the main punto dealer in a few days time and will check with them. I think the part is around 5 quid and they come in bags of 5, so will stock up
