Today I got a portable DVD Player from ASDA. It worked for 15 mins and then cut out.

It had blown a fuse, replaced the fuse and it just blow straight away.

Take it back, sounds like a faulty unit to me (no electrical knowledge what to so ever). But if it kept doing that to me, it'd be back in the shop faster than it could blow a 3rd fuse

And while you're there ask for them to compensate you for the 2 blown fuses!!!
