I have posted before about my steering and have made a new discovery.

My power steering has been playing up for the last few months, the light on and no power steering. about a month ago it was a very sunny day and got into my car (noticed the car was very warm inside but engine cold) and when i started it up the steering was fine. When i got into the car the following day(a colder day) no power steering again. Then the same thing happened again today, Lovely sunny day and steering works.

Can anybody explain why the car getting hot makes the power steering work

just a stab in the dark here but get the ball rolling with a suggestion, could possibly be the power steering fluid?
Sorry cant be of more help havnt got much experiance of power steering

thanks for the reply, checked the fluid level and all is OK, any other ideas

does anybody out there know if this problem could be down to a blockage in the fluid pipe, if so how di i check
