Going to have a go at fitting a new clutch (all 3 parts) to my 2001 Jtd punto this week. Anyone got any tips/a guide to doing it? With it being a TD, I presume it's a slightly different operation the mk2 clutch fitting guide on h ere already.....

or am I wrong?

Any advice would be appreciated. Or if anyone local to Barnsley handy at fitting clutches fancies making a few quid, give me a shout.

It likely to be more like the HGT but apart from a bracket** under the inlet manifold the gearbox comes off like any other.

** The HGT has a support for the inlet manifold which goes down to the gearbox differential casing. Its easy to miss until you try to get the box off! Check the JTD just in case.
