I don't know how to describe it other than it looks like a typical plod of bird sh*te but isn't...I've tried using my nail to rub it off...no luck

Anyone able to give advise? I hate it as it looks like I've been driving around in my car with it for a week now...

It's not bird crap I promise...I'm going to try those suggestions..will post an update once I've tried them...here's hoping

As promised here's the update....nope

It seems to be a scratch/strain...any other ideas now...spent 30mins rubbing T-cut...removed some of the "stain" looking effect but the scratch remains...it almost looks like it's slightly underneath the glass?

How about a photo? Could it be the start of a crack? If it's on the surface you can feel it with a fingernail.

I'll get a photo tomorrow, I can definitely feel it on my nail very faintly, the glass feels rough

About the only stuff to etch glass is nitric acid or a sand blaster.

It appeared the day after I polished the car...must have been a lil left to dry on the window...

Try a stanley knife blade at a low angle to plane off any resin that's dried on.

Surely any resin should come off with the amount of effort I've put in to remove it?

I've used nail polish removal, t-cut, and just rubbing it for a few mins..no luck

Try the blade keep the angle low and see if it planes off the gunk
