Technical Airbag warning light MK2 punto

Order the KKL lead with the 3 adaptors, took a while (10 minutes) to work out the drivers and how to chose the correct com port but once I had done that it was really easy as soon as I picked the second one on the list of air bag controllers, notice on the glove box was a wire close to the top of the glove box that may have been being interfered with when the glove box was full, about the same time the light came on. Thanks for all the help everyone, was easy as soon as you knew what to do, especially as this was probably the only thing stopping the car passing the MOT

its same as buying from uk guys, where do you think they get it? china ofcourse, but are you saying these lead with switches doesnt work?

iguess people will have working one's.
its like all imported stuff, its a gamble, shipping fee's are to expensive to send it back ..like isaid it was cheap item so no biggie,

the kit ibought seems to be quality item, that will last year's no doubt.
you gets whats you pays for, :)

iv'e just about given up with my clicky clicky kkl lead as it seems to refuse to communicate with most things
mine came from distant lands too

How much would you want for the leads if you do not use them any more? (sorry for jumping in!)

they are cheap enough new on amazon

Same ones I bought, worked great

How did you get it to work? I tried for hours
I got the software but it kept saying that it cant connect

I need to sort my airbag light otherwise cant pass MOT and my mechanic says it could be a complicated task to fix and I think he is having one on me

Can anybody give me some description with images as to how to clean the connectors to see if this is the issue

The only thing that I think that happened, was that my mum sat on the seat with a very heavy suitcase and this must have nudged some cables?

Any help is appreciated,

Thanks

:)

I never seen this bluetooth obd2 adapter before. I had bought the VAG 409 KKL USB Ecu Scan Diagnostic Interface Cable & CD along with the Diagnostic Cable Adaptors for MultiECUScan. Such a complicated piece of software to connect with all the ports.. Does it work on a laptop by the way? I had considered whether this was a reason.
