Hi guys

Had a look under the car this morning to find oil dripping from the sump. There's a small patch on the road, photos below....

Ideas? Only had a service last week! I checked the dipstick and it was a little high.

looks like it could be overspill from being filled too fast.

Clean up that gunk around the rocker cover, a rag and some petrol should move it quickly, then clean over sump, then at least when thats clean you can see the path the the oil is taking to get to drip from the sump.

If its coming from rocker cover, new seal is only a few quid.

If the sump has a hole high up & the sump is overfilled it could leak more than previously. Also take off the oil filter and make sure its seal is ok. It should be hand tight. Too much or too little torque and it will leak.
