Today my car was not happy and neither am I!

Just got in my car and tried to start it and it had some trouble starting and then stalled.

Tried to start again and it started fine but stalled when Idleing. Rectified this by keeping my foot on the accelerator.

Driving along and having to keep my foot on the accelerator and it is fine (this has happened before and seemed to be fine once the car has warmed up). When it happened before it was rectified itself and was problem free for about 5 months until today.

This has happened about 3 times over the space of a year.

But..... today the car stalled whilst driving at about 30mph as well as when idleing. But then started again and ran fine.

It seems as if the choke isn't working but generally the car causes no problems (engine problems.).

Any idea's as what this could be as it is pissing me off and I would like to get it sorted.

The car is due an MOT/service at the end of the month could this be part of the problem.

Oh and another thing that has started to bug me is that my car doesn't seem to absorb any bumps and the ride is quite hard mainly at the front. Its like it bounces over some bumps. Could this be caused by needing the bushes replaced.

Any help appreciated!

Right, I have gone out and bought some redex for the car and have added it to the tank and driven it.

Car starts and runs fine now but it now sounds like a diesel, I will put this down to it needing a service.

For the bouncing problem I will get that sorted at the end of the month when the MOT is due.
