Hello!

Need a few people to do me a favour. If you have a punto 55 or 60 can you have a look at the back of the cylinder head at where the temperature sender unit is. Its in the head, timing end. It should have a rubber shroud over it, and a wire coming out. Can u remove the rubber bit and tell me what colour the cap of the sender unit is.

I think theres a red one and a white one. If your car has a temperature gauge, it should have a white one i think, and if you only have an "OMG THE ENGINE IS ON FIRE!!!!" light - you should have a red capped sender.

Can a few people have a look for me, and let me know the colour and if you have a guage or a light.

Much apprericated

Punto 60 Engine.

Red Top sender, have gauge and it works fine...

I think Im an anomaly...eep

I have a red and a guage. According to fiat here the color can be different in different batches. I recived one that is for a warninglight at first and that one was black. And the one I had first was black and was for guage.

Partnumber is the correct way to go, not color.
