Technical driver seat

i think my problem has been covered before as i have looked over old threads but i just wanted to double check and see if there is any easier solution ?

when the seat is jacked up full and you get it the left side drops down,
i took the seat out today and the bar you see in the middle of the pic is the one thats moves up and dow as you pump the seat up and down, this seems to be too soft and iam able to press into the base and push it down.

i seemed to have the same problem, but its when my seat is at the lowest setting, does it feel like you are leaning to the left when sitting in it. Think this must be a problem with worn seats or something ?

yea its on the left.
odd that yours would be doing it when it down full, theres no more for it to go down like.
as i said above i have seen old threads similar to this saying the replace the base, but i just wanted to see if there was any other ways to fix it

mine does this, it turned out theres some sort of ram that extends like a sissor motion but the pivit points on the seat the left side had snapped so it was just rotating, i electric welded the pivit and worked fine until my overweight dad decided to throw himself in the seat and snapped the weld again lol, oh well i have an idea to use some sort of pin to lock the pivit point and weld the pin in.

yea i discovered earlier today that it is that weld alright.
i will get it welded up and see how it goes.
