I've had a very simular problem I've bin trying to colour code the black bumper trim on my stilo and the dark primer on my test piece had made the trim look far to dark I've bin testing for a while to.find the right match i think you just have to test until you find it feels

99% of the time black or grey bumpers are made of polypropylene which wont take paint or rather it flakes off PDQ.

Hope the email addy doesn't get hammered with spam. They use bots to scan forums and then spam the hell out of it.

ive used the 597... its darker than my paintwork. the 597F is what i dont know how it is. lol

well i got an idea for it as the coulor fades, so before putting the lacker on ill T-cut the paint once dry and see what its like, ill paint a little peice of wood or sumething to see if it matchies and upload a pic of the result

Is it a 3 door or 5 door you are after skirts for?
The stone chip repair even from fiat never seems to be even close with the teseo blue, it's a real pain in the ass.

Mine is a 5 door and thinking of returning it to standard before selling it (y)

how much paint u get with the touch up kits and did u prime the areas etc or just brushed on and wiped off or whatever?

just thought as well, may have some to do with the visible areas painted. obviously my spoiler is a larger area covered so any differences may become more apparent... maybe my car has faded more, maybe im just crap at painting. lol.
