does the alfa 147 use an electic power steering motor simliar to puntos if so could i use an alfa ps motor on my punto

ask on the alfa forum but if its leccy there is a gd chance as all my oem parts say alfa on the boxes.

nah but its on the way out and i just wonder if alfas had the same motors lol

On its way out? Check your battery as this is known to throw up the PS light.

no m8 its not the battery only had a new battery last month, plus my cars got 90k on clock so its due lol

The motors fail but the relays and torque sensors are just as likely to go, so swapping only the motor gives only a part chance it will solve the problem.

BBA Remanufacturing will replace the motor if its failing or do the whole lot or you can take the service exchange column. Call them to discuss.
