my beam on dipped headlights the passenger one is pointing towards nearside pavement, and the drivers one towards off side pavement.

and the full beam are pointing to the sky, i have done a search on web for details on how to allign them, but each site gives different advice, i was also told i can not adjust the main beam.

I know for certain now, now that i have received v5 docs, the car has been a previous cat c write off, so maybe front end was knocked out of alignment knocking headlights to new position, i understand i may be able to but washers behind headlight brackets to bring them back out to correct postion, is this true ?

Someone also told me the full beam bulbs may be in upside down , but i think he was pulling my leg, he may as well of asked me to get a tin of tarten paint.

any one have correct procedure to sort these out please, as i was pulled over by the old bill (n) last ngt and given a warning about my lights.
