Has any one seen or found a way to make auto levelling head lights for mk2 punto. i have been searching around but cant find anything on puntos

I was just thinking about trying to make HIDs a bit more legal and thats one of the things your supposed to have.

I cant see the water jets being too hard as thats another one of the requirements

Any Ideas?

Anything is possible, however it would be more hastle than its worth and cost a fair bit to make them auto level.

Also, in order for your HID's to fully comply, the headlamp lenses also need to be marked to be used with HID's, which they are not.

TBH mate, ive not yet seen a Mk2 with HID's that has had or caused any problems, as it has projector style lights as standard. Which aim the light much better than standard lights.

Dont go too blue (use bulbs with less than 5000K) and no-one will notice the HIDs.

oh right i got them in yestarday its just some people i know how telling me how im going to get pulled and how they will set on fire. But so far so good
ive got 35w 6000k. got them cheap off a mate who wrote his car off in the ice

Fire? Ive had them installed for a year and a half and no problems, just fitting them was a pig. Btw good choice, 6000k is just the right balance of white

nice to know and by the looks of it the left one in my punto isn't in properly.

think i might follow the guide exactly, they make it look tidy, mine looks a little messy

HIDs give 3x the light on 50% of the power so fire shouldn't be an issue. But do site the ballast blocks where they cant overheat.
