Looking for a backbox with a low sound similar to this:



I am not interested in any enhance of the performance, I just want something that gives a low sound. Whats the prices and where from?

if you just want the sound,id suggest getting a air filter/induction kit.You can get a focus induction kit that will make a really nice sound

prob is inductions only give a nice sound whilst accelerating. im after a back box myself for my 16v to get a more constant rumble and sound from both ends of the car.

tbf the focus induction gives a nice burble while ideling,not very loud but you can tell that you have put something on to change the noise

The reason I never wanted to get An induction kit, doesn't it effect insurance ?

yes it can add to ur insurance, but so can a back box.

and yes u still get the quiet noise from the induction but only really noticeable whist putting ur foot down.

its not my car m8, but this is the same backbox sounds ace

i have a longlife custom made stainless steel cat back exhaust with two exit holes both on the same side and right next to each other but twin instead of one its got a slight leak from the flexi pipe but u could either fix it or just use the backbox.

It easy to fit? i might treat myself hehe :yum:

anything of this nature will affect your insurance. if you just want a deeper engine noise just drill the standard airbox

yhyh backbox's are easy to fit just a clamp thats all
