Hello, Please help I'm in desperate need.

I went to open the bonnet via the usual way by the catch near the steering wheel. However, when I pull this, there is no affect.

i have tried pulling the catch while another person pushes down and lifts up on the bonnet to see if the cable has been stretched or if the catch has seized. This has not worked.

I then decided to pull on the wire behind the catch in order to see if the actual catch you pull has broken but i was able to pull the actual wire several inches with ease and had no affect on the bonnet.

I was wondering if there was another way of getting into the bonnet before I fork out money to a garage.

sounds to me like the cable has snapped under the bonnet. only way of finding out how to pop the bonnet with the snapped cable is to make a donation and pm "Dave" who can email u instructions. this is put in place to prevent randoms from finding out how to essentially break in to ur engine bay.
